Elections @ITG

​The annual election process is an integral part of our organization's commitment to transparency and accountability. Elections are held at the end of the Spring Quarter, and all members in good standing are eligible to run for Executive Board positions. Nominees are required to submit a statement of intent, which includes a brief bio, why they are running for the position, and their goals for the organization if elected.

Once the nomination period ends, candidates attend a Candidate Orientation Meeting, where they will receive information about the election process and their responsibilities if elected. Candidates will also have the opportunity to present their platforms and answer questions from the membership. The election process is conducted using a secret ballot, and the results are announced at the end of the meeting. The newly elected Executive Board assumes their roles at the start of the following academic year.

We encourage all members to participate in the election process, whether by running for a position or by casting their vote. It is an opportunity to shape the future of the organization and contribute to its continued success.
